Nida Terms of Use

Nida is the communication platform of Alim Academy / Muslim Community School (7917 Montrose Rd, Potomac, MD 20854 · (301) 340-6713 · info@alimacademy.org). Access is provided to enrolled families, students, staff, and alumni on the school’s roster. By using Nida you agree to these terms.

Accounts & access

Accounts are provisioned by the school from its roster; you may not share your sign-in or access another family’s information. Notify the office of any unauthorized use. The school may suspend access that is misused.

SMS text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, Alim Academy sends school announcements, schedule changes and closures, event reminders, dismissal/pickup updates, and urgent or emergency alerts via the Nida program. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of non-emergency messages at any time, or HELP for help (or call (301) 340-6713). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.

Acceptable use

Use Nida only for legitimate school communication. Do not post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content, attempt to disrupt the service, or access data you are not authorized to see.

Content

Announcements, calendars, menus, and similar content are provided for your information; the school is the source of truth and may correct or remove content at any time.

Changes

The school may update these terms; material changes will be communicated through Nida. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
